Stone Brewing Co is releasing its beers into Canada for the first time next month.

Six year-round beers from the California-based craft brewer are being made available in the on- and off-trade in Alberta and British Columbia from 20 October through distributor Horizon Beers, Stone said. A variety of Stone's 'special releases' will also be offered.

The six year-round beers will be: Stone IPA, Stone Go To IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, Stone Cali-Belgique IPA, Stone Smoked Porter, Arrogant Bastard Ale.

Todd Karnig, Stone's sales VP, said: “Canadians are ready for Stone, and we feel privileged to contribute to the country’s prospering craft beer scene.”

The brewer, the US's 10th biggest craft producer by volume, is currently distributed to 40 US states.

In July, Stone announced it plans to open a brewery and restaurant in Berlin, Germany
