State receivers are to put the Bulgarian soft drinks producer Bena Pri up for sale in September this year, according to local press reports.

Bena Pri was declared insolvent in October 2002 and has been idle since May 2001.

The authorities plan to sell it in its entirety rather than bit by bit as was previously expected.

The company has an annual production capacity of 24 million litres of soft drinks. Previously it was a bottler and producer for the UK-based soft drinks group Cadbury Schweppes.
