The Swedish brewer, Spendrup, recorded turnover for the first half of 2002 of SKr961m ($102,8m/€105.3m), representing an 18% year-on-year increase. The company posted a pre-tax profit of SKr37.6m ($4.0m/€4.1m) for the first six months. At the end of June 2002, Spendrup's share of the Swedish beer market stood at 27.5%.
