Kevin McCracken has been appointed senior VP, spirits, while John Rooney has stepped up to VP, on-premise wine, spirits, beer & non-alcoholic. Both appointments took effect on 5 May, the distributor said earlier this week.

McCracken will report to Ian Staller, executive VP & general manager of SWS's Nevada unit. Rooney will report to McCracken on spirits-related business and to Glenn Morrison, SWS-NV senior VP, wine, on wine-related business, the company said.

Earlier this month, SWS announced Wayne Chaplin is stepping up to the role of group CEO to replace his father. Brad Vassar has been promoted to take the role of COO left vacant by Chaplin.
