The Sonoma County Wineries Association (SCWA) has changed names - becoming the Sonoma County Vintners (SCV) - and also moved office location.

The association represents wineries and winemakers in Sonoma County, California.

The new SCV office location will be shared with the Sonoma County Tourism Board and the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association at Aviation Boulevard, Santa Rosa, California.

SCV president Chris Hanna said: "The board has been working on this project for the last 12 months and we are pleased to announce the results of our efforts. The SCV organisation will be a results-oriented, membership services organisation focused on bringing media, trade and opinion leaders to Sonoma County's wine country and taking the best of Sonoma County on the road to our loyal customers."

The Sonoma County wine industry employs more than 4,600 people in the US and has 60,000 acres of vineries in 14 sub-appellations.
