The production of soft drinks in Brazil is expected to increase 4% this year on the 11.57 billion litres produced last year, according to the Brazilian association of the soft drinks industry Abir.

Abir says the rise will be the result of an improvement in the Brazilian economy a good summer.

Since 1998, the sector has been producing 11 billion litres per year.
