SodaStream is available in 45 markets

SodaStream has launched its first global TV campaign a day after announcing big jumps in year-to-date profits and sales.

The Israeli company will spend US$18m on air time across its 45 markets, SodaStream announced yesterday (8 November). The campaign follows the launch of The Source soda maker and includes a new visual identity, logo, branding and tagline.

“(The ad) is aimed at establishing a strong brand image and distinct lifestyle positioning," SodaStream CMO Ilan Nacasch said.

On Wednesday, SodaStream posted a 64% increase in YTD profits, along with a 49% rise in sales. Unit sales of the company's core home carbonation beverage systems drove the growth, climbing by 31%.

The US will first air the commercial, which can be viewed below. The ad will be supported by print, billboard and web advertising.
