Scottish & Newcastle has sold its freehold interest in Fountain House in Edinburgh to Halladale Group Plc, the UK property co-investment, trading and development company.

The sale was for GBP9.975m.

The property has been acquired in a new joint venture company created with Gregor King, with whom Halladale set up Oban Bay Properties Limited three years ago.
