Scottish & Newcastle, the UK's leading brewer has captured through a takeover offer more than 72% of Finnish brewing company Hartwall Oyj it was announced yesterday.   S&N's shares give it more than 91% of the voting rights in Hartwall. Under Finnish stock market regulations, S&N is now required to make a mandatory offer for all remaining Hartwall shares.  S&N intends to announce Thursday the final result of its offer and the timetable for the mandatory offer.
