Sazerac's Southern Comfort campaign features ads on the London Underground

Sazerac Co's UK distributor has announced a seasonal campaign for Southern Comfort as the company looks to further highlight the brand's heritage. 

Hi-Spirits said today that the initiative, called 'The Spirit of New Orleans', coincides with the build-up the Christmas and will run through to New Year's Eve. The campaign features a cinema advert along with posters on National Rail and the London Underground. 

The company will also run experiential campaigns in Picture House cinemas throughout the country.

"The new Southern Comfort campaign builds on the repositioning of Southern Comfort, which emphasises the brand's connection with the colourful city of New Orleans for 140-plus years, as well as spotlighting the new bottle and label design, dialling up the brand's whiskey credentials," said Amanda McLeod, Hi-Spirits marketing director. 

Hi-Spirits has been responsible for the brand in the UK market since it was acquired by Sazerac in 2016
