SABMiller has appointed Mondelez executive Philip Hodges to the newly-created role of group director of integrated supply.

Hodges was senior VP of integrated supply chain at Mondelez Europe

Hodges, who is senior VP of integrated supply chain at Mondelez Europe, will also sit on SABMiller's executive committee. He replaces on the comittee Tony van Kralingen, who announced his retirement in April

Both roles will start on 1 December.

SABMiller's CEO, Alan Clark, said: “Philip has a wealth of international supply chain and finance experience in consumer goods, and I look forward to welcoming him to SABMiller later this year.”

In August, SABMiller appointed Johann Nel to head up its HR department. Nel will replace part of the role of van Kralingen.
