Russian Standard is rolling out a cinema advertising campaign in the UK as part of a GBP8m (US$15.9m) marketing investment in its vodka brands.

The execution, confirmed today (21 July), is a re-worked cut of its TV advertising creative and will run during films that appeal to Russian Standards' target audience of 18-34 year olds.

The activity will feature around the UK release of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight, later this week. The campaign will take place over a six-week period in July and August.

Earlier this month, Russian Standard announced the departure of its CEO. Carlo Radicati had held the position with the Moscow-based vodka producer since March last year.
