Russian Standard Vodka has entered into a partnership with Cirrus Airlines, one of Germany's largest independent regional airlines.

The new partnership, announced today (3 June), will make the Russian Standard Vodka portfolio - Russian Standard Original, Russian Standard Platinum and Imperia - the "exclusive" vodkas served on all Cirrus Airlines flights.

All three vodka brands will also be served in Cirrus Airlines' VIP lounges in airports such as Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich.

"Russian Standard Vodka is doing incredibly well in Europe, particularly in Germany and Switzerland, and this partnership represents yet another opportunity for us to reach the influential consumers in this important region," said Chris Lucas, CEO of Russian Standard Vodka.

Passengers will receive a 5ml bottle of Russian Standard partnered with caviar as part of an on board promotion that will be initiated "several times" over the next 12 months.

Ingrid Jung, director sales and marketing at Cirrus Airlines said, "We are confident that this promotion will be very well received by our passengers."

Earlier this month the Russian vodka group launched into the Greek market through a partnership with Greek spirits distributor WS Karoulias.
