Brand development group Rok Stars has recruited Asia Incentives Beverages to distribute Oval Vodka label in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Australia.

The exclusive “multi-year” agreement starts immediately, Rok's drinks unit said today (11 December). It is the first time Oval will be available in the four regions, a Rok Drinks spokesperson told just-drinks.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

An Asia Incentives spokesperson said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as the exclusive distributor for Oval Vodka in our major home territories and, based on the reaction of our retail partners to date, we look forward to deploying Oval in the next few months and years.”

Oval Vodka is made in Austria in a process that Rok Drinks claims "reduces the diuretic effect of alcohol consumption".

Rok Stars was founded by John Paul DeJoria, the co-founder of Patrón Spirits, and UK entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick. The company also owns ROK Natural Energy and ROK Water.

Last year, Rok agreed to sell around US$27.5m worth of stock in Oval Vodka to Dynamic Group Development Corporation, for distribution in Central and South America.
