UK craft brewer Purity Brewing Co has launched its first new permanent beer in seven years - an extra hoppy pale ale called Bunny Hop.

The new beer is a pale, low-abv beer brewed with Maris Otter, Lager Malt, Wheat Malts and Cara Pils. It is hopped with Pilgrim, Eureka, El Dorado and Chinook hops.

"Bunny Hop has been a work of great passion and innovation, and marks the culmination of more than ten years at the head of this fantastic business," said Paul Halsey, Purity MD. "The brewery started with a leap of faith when I sold up all I owned to get it going. This beer is a nod to that and has great meaning for me personally."

A spokesperson for the company told just-drinks that there are plans to package the beer in cans and export it from March 2017.

In September, Purity teamed up with Westons Cider to launch Pure Hopped, a blend of apple cider and hops.
