Conecuh Ridge Distillery has launched a 55% abv version of its Clyde May's Alabama-style whiskey. Clyde May’s Special Reserve is aged up to six years and is non-cold filtered with a slight hint of apple.

Conecuh Ridge has started a programme that allows retailers to create bespoke editions of Clyde May’s Special Reserve, drawing from a selection of barrels. The barrels are organised into three distinct lots that can be mixed by retail partners according to taste.

Brown-Forman this week broke ground on what will be its first distillery outside of the US, at Slane Castle in Ireland.
