The Czech subsidiary of Interbrew, Prazske Pivovary, plans to almost triple its capital in a rights issue to help cover past losses. In a statement, the company said that the subscription period for the new shares, worth 3.01 billion crowns (US$98m) - the offer is at par with the shares 25 crown nominal value - will start on September 19.
