Polmos Bialystok will hit the stock exchange next month, according to press reports. Other local reports also suggest that a strategic investor will be sought for Bialystok later this year. Almost half of the company will hit the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Citing the CEO of brokerage house Dom Maklerski Penetrator, which is offering 42.15% of the company's shares in the public offer, Poland Today says today (15 April) that Bialystok's bourse debut will begin in mid-May. Poland Today goes further and claims that the most probable date will be 12 May.

According to the issue prospectus, subscriptions for shares in the trance for individual investors will take place between 22 April and 28 April after the price range is set on 20 April.

Around 51% of the spirits company, meanwhile, will be offered to a strategic investor towards the end of this year.

Speaking to Interfax Poland Business News Service yesterday, treasury advisor TDI vice president Michal Malawski said: "All of the bidders had (sic) finished the due diligence process and have time until 18 April to place their binding offers.

"After we present our recommendations the Treasury will analyse the bids, and the deal could be finalised in the third quarter and await (anti-monopoly office) UOKiK approval," he added.
