The limited edition Cordon Rouge from Pernod Ricard’s G.H. Mumm Champagne brand launches this month

Pernod Ricard has launched a “limited edition” bottle design to mark its G.H Mumm brand's position as the official Champagne of Formula 1 motor racing.

The special Cordon Rouge bottle features the victory symbol of a laurel crown and the number one. The bottle is being released in the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Brazil, according to a Pernod spokesperson. The brand has been the official Champagne sponsor of Formula 1 since 2000. 

The spokesperson declined to say how many units will have the “limited” design.

In nine-month results, published last month, Pernod said Mumm's sales fell 1%, while volumes slipped 2%
