Pernod Ricard has enlisted a French rock band to educate consumers on its Olmeca Altos agave Tequila brand.

Hey Hey My My features in an online music video for the group's song "Colors of Life" alongside footage of the Olmeca Altos distillery in Mexico. The film also includes footage of the band helping with the agave harvest and Olmeca’s master distiller, Jesús Hernández.

Lisa McCann, Olmeca's international marketing director, said: "We felt it was very fitting to tell the story through a music video, as it provides us with a visual medium through which to tell consumers about the vibrant dynamism of our Tequila and really gets across the laidback, sunny personality of the brand.”

The video, which can be seen above and was released last week, is available on Olmeca's Youtube channel and through its global Facebook page.

In May, Olmeca Altos underwent a global packaging overhaul.
