Pernod Ricard's has lined up the roll-out of a pre-mixed espresso Martini that features its Kahlua coffee-based liqueur. Kahlúa Espresso Martini will be available in six markets from next month, including exclusive availability in the UK through the Waitrose supermarket chain.

Each can of the RTD is designed to cater for two servings. The can also contains a 'smart' nitrogen widget to create a foam head.

"Coffee culture is booming around the world and at the same time we are seeing an increased demand for a high-standard cocktail experience at home," said Pernod's VP of global marketing for Malibu & Kahlúa, Colin Kavanagh. "We therefore developed the Kahlúa Espresso Martini can to tap into this emerging opportunity."

Two versions will be available, one with an abv of 4.5% the other at 7%, depending on market.
