Pernod Ricard has launched a new global TV ad for its Ballantine's Scotch whisky.

“The Drummer”, which can be viewed above, is part of the brand's “Leave an Impression” campaign. The ad rolled out in South America and southern & central Europe this month and will move to other Ballantine's markets throughout this year and next, Pernod said.

It will principally air in a 30-second format on MTV and The Discovery Channel, but the push also includes a print campaign that will run across press, outdoor and online media.
