Pernod Ricard has given Kahlúa a makeover to "reinvigorate" the liqueur brand, the company said yesterday (20 August).

The redesign will roll out from next month, with changes made to the brand's logo, bottle and packing boxes, Pernod said. The new bottle will include a metallic twist-off cap.

Kahlúa brand director Michelle Sanders said: “Our goal through this visual upgrade is to incorporate subtle changes that enhance the appeal of the brand and reinvigorate it, without taking away from the iconic character that is Kahlúa.”

The changes will be made for the whole Kahlúa line-up, the company said.

In June, Pernod launched Kahlúa Cans-To-Go, a single-serve RTD version of the rum and coffee liqueur.
