The new logo for Pernod Ricard's Aberlour Scotch whisky brand

Pernod Ricard's Chivas Brothers division has lined up a new look and global marketing push for the Aberlour single malt Scotch whisky brand.

The new logo, which can be viewed on the right, will be backed by an ad campaign that features a bottle of Aberlour that has "a prominent shadow". The push, entitled 'Made From Experience', will run in print, at out-of-home locations and online.

Financial details and campaign specifics were not disclosed.

The logo highlights Speyside’s Birkenbush springs, the water source for Aberlour, and an oak tree to denote the brand's Sherry cask style.

In 2010, Chivas updated the packaging of Aberlour's 12, 16 and 18 Year Old expressions.
