Pernod Ricards annual St Patricks Day Jameson bottle rolls out this month

Pernod Ricard's annual St Patrick's Day Jameson bottle rolls out this month

Pernod Ricard's Irish Distillers unit has launched a seventh limited-edition St Patrick's Day bottle design for its Jameson Irish whiskey brand.

The company said that the bottle, which rolls out this month, was designed by a group of artists. The livery is inspired by the Fianna - Irish mythological warriors.

The bottles will also feature NFC technology, connected to content on the Jameson website.

Irish illustrator Claudine O'Sullivan led the design process, supported by British designer Alex Mellon and Irish photographer Leonn Ward, the company said.

The limited-edition bottle will be available in 35 countries, including Ireland, Japan and Australia.

"St Patrick's Day is Jameson's second Christmas and is synonymous with great friends getting together, so we are confident that our new seasonal release will encourage modern day adventurers to enjoy Jameson together during their St Patrick's Day celebrations," said Simon Fay, international marketing director at Irish Distillers.
