Pernod Ricard has readied a global television advert for its Martell Cognac brand.

The company said late yesterday (9 December) that the ad, entitled 'The Quest', will break in China this month. With 15-, 30- and 60-second versions of the ad available, Pernod will roll out the activity globally soon after the China premiere.

Financial details and specific market presence were not disclosed.

“Our intention is that this new TV commercial will act as a powerful tool to reach and engage discerning Cognac drinkers,” said Charles-Armand de Belenet, global marketing & communications director for Martell.

The ad forms part of Martell's 'Only a Few Can Tell' marketing campaign, which has been running for ten years.
