Food and beverage giant PepsiCo is to publish a health audit of its product range in the UK.

The audit, to be published in October, is being launched as part of the company's bid to help tackle the issue of obesity in the country.

The US-based group declined to comment on which of its products will form part of the audit but said that the initiative will be launched in the autumn.

Soft drinks firm Britvic holds the licence to PepsiCo soft drinks in the UK and Ireland.
