PepsiCo is looking to follow Coca-Cola into the Russian juice market, according to local reports. Vedomosti newspaper said today (1 April) that the drinks company is "definitely very interested in the Russian juice market."

The comment, which was not attributed to anyone in particular, follows Coke and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Co.'s joint acquisition of Russian juice producer Multon earlier this week.

The paper suggested that PepsiCo would most likely be interested in juice producer Nidan. PepsiCo declined to comment on the possible scenario.
