PepsiCo has made several leadership changes in the past two months

A spokesperson for PepsiCo has confirmed to just-drinks the appointment of a new SVP & global chief information officer at the company.

Jody Davids replaces Robert Dixon, who has retired. Davids assumed the position earlier this month.

She will head up the the company's business & information solutions (BIS) unit, which delivers all information technology to PepsiCo through a global network of 3,700 IT associates. Davids' most recent role before PepsiCo was CIO for agricultural retailer Agrium.

Davids' appointment follows several leadership changes at the company. In March, PepsiCo promoted the CEO of its North America Beverages unit to head up its total North America operations.

Earlier this week,  PepsiCo reported a lift in sales and operating profits for its North America Beverages (NAB) division, though group sales and profits were down. The company said its NAB division had been "positively impacted" by productivity gains and lower raw material costs, partially offset by operating cost inflation and higher advertising and marketing expenses.
