The president of a Pepsi Cola bottling plant in Luverne in Crenshaw County in the US has been found murdered.

The bodies of 62-year-old Winston "Brent" Springford, and his wife, 60-year-old Charlotte Springford, were found on Friday (26 November) morning.

Investigators have found no motive, but are searching for the couples' missing car, a 1998 black Jaguar.

Police also declined to comment on the cause of death.

The mayor of Luverne said: "It's just a shock to hear they are gone."
