Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. (PBG) has completed its acquisition of Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte.

The soft drinks company said that the business was contiguous to PBG's existing territories and serves all or a portion of eight counties in North Carolina. Its operations include a manufacturing plant and warehouse in Charlotte and two additional warehouses in Cherryville and Midland, North Carolina.

The precise details of the deal were not disclosed.
