The company said yesterday that its private online tasting experience aims to foster "friendship, education and community". The sessions, led by general manager Adrienne Capps, will be available to groups of eight or fewer. The package includes sample wines, food pairing suggestions for advanced planning, wine order forms and background materials.

The tastings will last about 90 minutes and are priced at US$95 per person.

Parallel produces Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from the Russian River region in California.

The winery joins a growing number of companies looking for innovative ways to do business during the Covid-19 outbreak. Earlier this week, Scotland's BrewDog announced 'BrewDog Drive Thrus' at its bars across the UK. Consumers can place orders for beer, food and spirits via the company's 'Hop Drop' app.
