Ottakringer Brauerei has seen a small its first half turnover, leading to a rise in earnings from ordinary operations to €1m from €400,000.

Turnover was up 1.3% year-on-year to €35.76m (US$43.71m) at the Austrian brewery.

Beer sales in Austria increased 6.2% to 281,900 hectolitres.

Exports rose to 20,500 hectolitres from 18,500 hectolitres.
