The Glenrothes is to release its 1991 Vintage next month. The new vintage will succeed the 1992 Vintage, which is expected to sell out next year.

"As a result of the extensive work we have undertaken into understanding cask influence, each Vintage of The Glenrothes shares the same distillery character whilst demonstrating a different personality," said Ronnie Cox, director of The Glenrothes. "The 1991 Vintage is a wonderfully worthy successor to the 1992 and we are confident that it will be savoured and enjoyed by all single malt whisky enthusiasts."

The Glenrothes comes in a bottle which was inspired by those found in distillery sample rooms. The front label of each bottle carries the Malt Master's tasting notes and signature as well as the year of distillation and bottling.

The recommended retail price for The 1991 Vintage Malt is GBP41.00, and will be stocked, at among others, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Royal Mile Whiskies, Harrods, Jenners, Selfridges, Loch Fyne Whiskies, The Whisky Exchange and specialist whisky retailers.
