Bacardi-Martini Ltd has appointed UK advertising agency Fallon as its above-the-line creative partner in the UK for its Bacardi carta blanca rum brand.
 
In a statement, Andrew Carter, director of marketing at Bacardi-Martini UK, said: "Our decision to appoint Fallon follows an extensive selection process which has been taking place over the last three months. Fallon impressed us with the outstanding strategic and creative work produced throughout the pitch process.

"We are delighted to be working with them and look forward to unveiling an exciting new advertising campaign for Bacardi carta blanca rum later this year."
 
Media planning and buying in the UK will continue to be handled by Universal McCann.
