The Swiss-owned Nestle Waters France will hold a final meeting of the central works council today, in order to discuss plans to divide the company into separate divisions.

The French newspaper Les Echoes reported that the unions CGT and CFDT are believed to oppose the plan, however they don't have the power of veto on them.

The report said that a break-up would five subsidiaries. These would include three water production companies and two companies providing services.
