The company said yesterday (11 May) that it now holds a 51% stake in a company that has bought all bottled water activities from Boissons Gazeuses des Freres Zahaf Group (BGFZ).

In a statement, Nestle said that the Algerian company holds the remaining 49% in the joint stock company called Societe Source de Taberkachent.

Financial details for the transaction were not disclosed.

BGFZ is the exclusive bottler of Orangina and Mecca Cola in Algeria and also holds the natural still mineral water brand Sidi El Kebir.
