Nestle Waters has appointed a marketing director for its France and Belgium divisions.

Muriel Koch will take up the post from 1 October, the bottled water producer said today (21 September). She succeeds Emanuel Manichon, who is leaving to "pursue his career outside the Nestlé Group".

Koch will be tasked with developing Nestle's mineral water brands including Perrier, Vittel, Contrex, Hepar, Quézac and San Pellegrino, in France and Belgium.

Having joined the Nestle Group in 1995, Koch has held several positions in marketing for Nestle Germany and France. Her most recent appointment was as director of Baby Nutrition for Nestlé France, which she has held since December 2009.
