The Swiss-based food and beverage giant Nestle is facing legal action for allegedly tricking US consumers over the contents of its Poland Spring bottled water. The allegations were laid out in a class-action lawsuit filed yesterday in Connecticut Superior Court. "Consumers purchase Poland Spring thinking they are getting a higher-quality natural spring water, but our suit will show that Poland Spring is neither natural nor spring water, and in fact comes from sources of a lesser quality than some tap water," Tom Sobol, an attorney who filed the complaint, said in a statement.
