The US drinks distributor National Wine & Spirits has reported a rise in third quarter revenues to US$159.1m compared to US$156.5m during the prior year's quarter.

Operating income reached US$6.4m versus US$0.8m, while net income was US$4.4m compared to a US$1.2m loss in the sale period last year.

The company said net income and EBITDA showed increases due to an increased gross profit on stable spirits case volume, reduced expenses in the administrative area, and increased management fees.
