Myx Beverages said consumers were asking for the new bigger bottles

Myx Beverages has launched its fruit-infused wine beverage brand in 75cl bottles.

The new size comes in three flavours - Myx Moscato, Peach Moscato and Classico Sangria - the company said today. It will retail for US$8.99.

Previously, the 5.5% abv wine, which was first launched in 2013, was available in single-serve 6.3oz bottles.

"We've seen an increasing demand for larger bottles from trade and consumers alike," said Peter Reaske, CEO of Myx Beverage. "We're delighted to answer those calls with 75cls of our most popular flavours. The timing, shipping just before the big holiday season, couldn't be better."

The brand is part-owned by Trinidadian singer Nicki Minaj, who also fronts its marketing in the US.

Minaj said: "The smaller bottles are great for picnics or barbecues, on the beach or any single serve occasion, but I can definitely see myself serving the 75cl bottles at a holiday party."
