UK wine importer Myliko has appointed David Emmins as regional sales manager.

Formerly of Sharps Brewery, Emmins has over 30 years' experience in the drinks industry and will be joining Myliko from today (1 September).

Emmins will assume overall responsibility for accounts in the Midlands and northern England. In addition to managing existing business, he will also be charged with gaining new listings for Myliko's expanding range, which now includes wines from New Zealand, Germany and Italy.

A spokesperson for Myliko, said: "David has a wealth of experience in the industry, which we believe will be instrumental in driving the business forward.

"It's a great time to welcome David on board. Not only have we increased our range in existing popular territories, such as Chile, South Africa, Italy and France, but our portfolio now covers New Zealand, which offers Myliko fantastic opportunities for growth across the UK."
