The New Brunswick-based brewer, Moosehead Breweries, is to rent space from Montreal brewery, McAuslan Brewing, in order to bypass Quebec's duties on beers from other provinces. The Quebec duties amount to CAN$8.56 per case, some 26% of the total cost. McAuslan Brewing, will allow Moosehead to take brewing space in its new plant in Montreal from this summer.
