Molson Coors's UK craft beer unit has announced the wider roll out of a gin brand, following its limited release last year.

Sharp's Brewery, in collaboration with Tarquin's gin producer Southwestern Distillery, trial-launched The Hopster gin in the UK on-premise last year. The brand will now roll out to the country's on- and off-premise.

The Hopster includes an infusion of three hop varieties - Crystal, Cascade and Pilot. The 42% abv gin comes in 70cl bottles.

The company described the product as a "fixed member of the Sharp's portfolio".

"A huge part of what we do here at the brewery is experimenting with styles, flavours and products to push boundaries within the drinks industry, and The Hopster gin is a brilliant example of this," said Sharp's beer sommelier Ed Hughes.

Both the brewery and distillery are located on the north coast of Cornwall.

The move follows last December's launch of a pilsner beer made in collaboration with local vineyard, Camel Valley
