The Molson Coors-owned UK craft brewer Sharp's Brewery has teamed up with English winemaker Camel Valley to launch a limited-edition Pilsner.

Only 1,000 bottles of the lightly-hopped Camel Valley Pilsner, which is fermented with sparkling Brut yeast, will be available, Sharp's said today. It will be on sale only in North Cornwall, where both Sharp's and Camel Valley are based.

The collaboration follows the creation of The Hopster - a limited-edition gin created with Tarquin's of the Southwestern Distillery, also in Cornwall. The London gin is distilled with hops from Sharp's.

The Camel Valley Pilsner was brewed at Sharp's Brewery, then fermented for two weeks using traditional Pilsner yeast, before being aged on a bed of Saaz leaf hops for forty days. It was then transported to Camel Valley Vineyards and bottled in traditional Champagne-style bottles and reseeded with its sparkling Brut yeast.
