Heineken has lined up the head of Moët Hennessy as a board member.

The brewer said yesterday (18 March) that it plans to put Christophe Navarre forward at its AGM next month to join its board. If approved, Navarre would hold the position for a period of four years.

Currently president and CEO of Moët Hennessy, Navarre was president of Jas Hennessy & Co from 1997 to 2001. Prior to this, hee held a number of senior finance and market president positions with Interbrew, including president of the Italian and French operating businesses and CFO of the Belgian business.

Heineken's AGM is scheduled for 23 April.
