Baltimore kombucha maker Mobtown Fermentation has released a new flavour in its Wild Kombucha range.

Tart Cherry Ginger expands the company's product line to six, joining Mobtown's first flavour Ginger Grapefruit and others including Elderberry and Mango Peach. It continues Mobtown's expansion plans since the company purchased an automated bottling machine last year and moved into new markets.

"I'm excited to be adding a spring flavour to our line," said Sid Sharma, owner of Wild Kombucha, which started in 2015. "Cherry is one of the most popular flavours there are, especially in the warmer seasons, and pairing it with ginger has created a unique kombucha that I think people are really going to enjoy."

Tart Cherry Ginger is made with a fermented green tea base and flavoured with organic juice.
