The LVMH-owned division has appointed Hugues Pietrini as EVP of distribution. Pietrini joins Moët Hennessy from Orangina Schweppes, where he was CEO of France and Belgum.

Jean-Marc Gallot has been appointed EVP of brands and was previously with LVMH fashion brand Fendi.

"These new posts reflect the growth in Moët Hennessy's business and the need to adapt its management structure," a spokesman for the company told just-drinks earlier this week.

Pietrini and Gallot are expected to take up their posts by the end of the month.

Pietrini's successor at Orangina Schweppes has yet be appointed and the group's CFO, Caroline Varon, will occupy the post in the interim.

Last week, Moet Hennessy posted a 9% lift in profits from recurring operations in the 12 months of 2013.
