The Czech mineral water company Helios has gone into bankruptcy and the future of its popular Ondrasovka brand is uncertain, the local press reported today.

Helios controls 6% of the local market and it had been thought that the arrival of a subsidiary of entrepreneur Tomas Pitr as an investor in July would be enough to turn the operation around.

Pitr promised investments and development in the company's Mineralni plant, but shortly afterwards Helios filed for bankruptcy.

According to the reports, equipment and trademarks have been put up as collateral.
