The French wine group Michel Laroche SA has signed a joint vineyard development agreement in Canada, it was reported in the local press today.

According to the reports, the deal includes a new vineyard of 25 ha, near Lake Ontario, a region well known for its icewine production.

There are also plans to open a winery in the area
